Разработка и выход на рынок проекта балкера-лесовоза TESS 38 состоялись в ноябре 2014 года, а 14 апреля 2015 года был подписан контракт с местным судовладельцем на постройку первого судна. TESS 38 стал дальнейшим развитием проекта TESS 35, увеличение дедвейта на 3000т достигнуто на счет увеличения длины судна на 3 метра.
Головное судно “WECO JOSEFINE" сдано 15.01.2018г.
