В 1905 году С.Б. Фальц-Фейн приобрела в Ревеле комфортабельный грузопассажирский пароход, который был назван в честь хозяйки – «София». Судно выполняло почтово-товаро-пассажирские рейсы между Одессой и Хорлами, иногда с заходом в Скадовск и Ак-Мечеть. Позже пароход стал также ходить и в Николаев.
