6 февраля 1966 года средний черноморский сейнер «Топорок» шел из порта Поти в Геленджик с 25 тоннами хамсы. На пути судно попало в сильнейший шторм, и уже на подходе к Геленджикской бухте, в районе мыса Идокопас, затонуло. Вместе с сейнером погиб весь экипаж, 13 человек.
