Колесный буксирный газоход, корпус электросварной (длина – 22 м, ширина – 4,5 м, высота борта – 1,3 м, осадка – 0,6 м). В 1955 году судно переоборудуется в теплоход: на нем устанавливается четырехтактный бескомпрессорный тихоходный дизель мощностью 80 л.с. (производство Ростокского дизельного завода, ГДР, 1958 г.). Были сохранены боковые гребные колеса.
