Пароход "Аракс" Винтовой пароход водоизмещением 116 тонн. Длина парохода составляла 30,5 метра, ширина — 4,9 метра, а осадка — 1 метр. На пароходе была установлена паровая машина мощностью 30 номинальных лошадиных сил, а в качестве движителя использовался один гребной винт. Вооружение парохода на момент 1880 года состояло из четырёх 1-фунтовых медных фальконетов. В 1895 году был модернизирован в Баку (79grt, 48nrt)
