В 1933 году на Сормовском заводе в городе Горьком началась сборка деталей корпусов речных пароходов, предназначенных тресту Дальстрой. Суда в разобранном виде доставлялись в верховья Лены на Ленскую судоверфь в городе Качуг, где и производилась сборка. Был в составе судов Лено-Колымской экспедиции в августе 1933.
