| 8 декабря 1989 года в Бискайском заливе, по пути с промысла в порт Клайпеда, на траулере вспыхнул пожар. Во время борьбы с пожаром погибли двое моряков, остальные восемьдесят покинули траулер и были подобраны иностранными судами. 13 декабря аварийный траулер с креном в 30° привёл во французский порт Брест буксир-спасатель Гордый. Девять дней спустя траулер был снова взят на буксир и отведён в Клайпеду. Из-за больших повреждений, вызванных пожаром, а также в связи со старостью, судно было разделано полтора года спустя. | |
