Использовалось в 1941-1942 годах как несамоходная шаланда в низовьях Волги для доставки защитникам Сталинграда боеприпасов и военного снаряжения. В 1949 году танкер был доставлен на завод «Красное Сормово» на ремонт, где из него сделали один из лучших танкеров того времени — первый в СССР морской дизель-электроход "Генерал Ази Асланов". После списания выступал в роли надводной мишени на морском полигоне Бузачи.
