Да не совсем. На старых фотках "Сокола" ватерлиния у него не изогнутая. http://fleetphoto.ru/photo/26083/?vid=8631 http://fleetphoto.ru/photo/169515/?vid=8631
Видимо вес носовой части с упорами, а может быть и сила реакции, действующая на нижние точки упоров от полностью нагруженной толкаемой баржи деформировали корпус.
