Сдаётся мне, что лет двадцать пять назад кто-то в Сибири очень удачно придумал названия для плавучих кранов, попутно облегчив жизнь нынешним редакторам сайта, избавив их от необходимости глубоко копать интернет.
Моя гипотеза такова: обские плавкраны с названиями вида кпл-XX-YY несут в своём имени год постройки (YY), а зная его, при желании, можно и регистровые номера "считать".

Похоже. Так как в 70-х эти краны имели обозначение ГК.
