Суда работали до середины 1990-х годов пока у них не закончился класс, в итоге все оказались на Рижском СРЗ. К тому времени их собственник (БМП) шел к банкротству и был ликвидирован в 1996 году. Суда с неопределенным статусом и накапливающимися долгами продолжали находиться в отстое на Рижском СРЗ. Их поддержанием занимался бывший Рижский филиал Балтморпути (ГП «Latvijas Ūdensceļi» с 1992 года), где суда оказались в залоге. После приватизации данной рижской компании голландский Van Oord отказался перенимать нерабочие неликвиды. К 2010 году караван продан в РФ.
