В августе 2010 "Водопад" участвовал в тушении сильного пожара на Канале имени Москвы (канал №282 — "Сестринский бьеф"), около поворота перед 3-й паромной переправой если следовать по течению. Также были задействованы буксиры "Б-404" (http://fleetphoto.ru/vessel/747/), "Речной-54" (http://fleetphoto.ru/vessel/2661/), "Речной-67" (http://fleetphoto.ru/vessel/1302/) и "ОТА-924" (http://fleetphoto.ru/vessel/1656/), всего около 30 пожарных машин, 2 самолёта и вертолёт.
