В 11.1879 — 08.1880 перестроен в Севастополе в товаро-пассажирский пароход с установкой новых котлов. 20.10.1914 взят по военно-судовой повинности Морским ведомством. 25.02.1915 включён в состав Транспортной флотилии Черноморского флота как Транспорт №57. 9.11.1915 в районе Туапсе атакован германской ПЛ UC-13 и выбросился на берег, позднее снят без повреждений. 15.04.1918 повреждён артогнём германской ПЛ UC-23 и выбросился на берег Крыма у мыса Сарыч. Впоследствии разбит штормами, остатки корпуса находятся на глубине 8-12 м.
