3.1. Надстройка является одним из главных элементов, формирующих внешний облик судна. Поэтому публикация фотографий надстроек направлена на то, чтобы представить крупным планом те виды, которые невозможно показать лучше на общих планах судна. В то же время, нет смысла публиковать снимки, которые были бы лишь немного увеличенным фрагментом соответствующего общего вида судна (когда надстройка и так расположена близко к фотографу).
3.2. Фотографии надстроек, расположенных в кормовой части судна, принимаются только при видах спереди.
3.3. Фотографии надстроек, расположенных в носовой части судна, принимаются только при видах сзади.
3.4. Фотографии надстроек, расположенных в средней части судна, принимаются в видах как спереди, так и сзади.
3.5. Фотографии надстроек, занимающих более 50% длины судна, не принимаются.
