В ходе ремонта заменяно около 240 тонн стали, включая полностью ППВЛ с обоих бортов от надстройки в нос. Перебраны или заменяны почти все механизмы и арматура. Восстановлена кинематика люковых закрытий и частично восстановлено полотно.
Кормовая мачта, к слову, сгнила у основания и держалась на тросах подъема.
