Грузовое судно под флагом Островов Кука Alexander Tvardovskiy более месяца находится в шотландском порту, сообщает arxmaritime.com.
Экипаж находится в бедственном положении и вынужден полагаться только на помощь благотворительных организаций, которые обеспечивают моряков продовольствием.

25 июня судно прибыло в порт Лейт в Эдинбурге, Великобритания, где Инспекция Агентства морской и береговой охраны (MCA) обнаружила ряд недочетов на корабле. Сухогрузу было запрещено покидать порт до момента устранения всех нарушений.

Также у судовладельца имеются долги по зарплате перед экипажем.
