Возможно цвет воды такой потому что канал поднимал уровень воды, следовательно водные массы проходят по участку с большей скоростью, поднимая взвесь песка со дна, кстати на старом русле (рукав направо от Хорошёвского спрямления) цвет воды несколько отличается, основаная масса воды прокачивается через спрямление. Посмотрите на носовую оконечность ВД, течение видно.

В Питере в начале 90-х так же прижало к Володарскому мосту груженую Волго-нефть.Несколько дней не могли оттащить Капитан Плахин,Мб,От ,буксиров шесть с ней боролось.
