После разделения Обь-Иртышского п-ва на Иртышское и Обь-Иртышское все плавмагазины базирующиеся ниже Тобольска остались в ОИРПе. ИРП для обслуживания своего флота в границах ОИРП пришлось организовывать свой флот КОФ. Одним из которых и был теплоход СТ-157, переоборудованный в "Плавмагазин-1"
