Организационно входит в состав 30 дивизии надводных кораблей КЧФ. Пункт постоянного базирования – Севастополь
2003 год — участник учений "Индра-2003" в акватории Индийского океана.
В ночь с 18-19.04.2007 на корабле произошел пожар в МО во время нахождения в море. В результате корабль был отбуксирован в базу СБС "Шахтер".
В 2014 году корабль прошел модернизацию РТС, в результате которой был установлен корабельный комплекс космической связи ”Центавр-НМ2С”.
21 января — День корабля. 21.01.2017 отметил 35-ти летие в составе ВМФ.
2008 год — участник операции по принуждению Грузии к миру.
2012 год — участник СКШУ "Кавказ-2012".
2014 год — выполнил задачи обеспечения безопасности проведения Олимпиады в Сочи.
2014 год — участник операции возвращения Крыма в состав РФ.
9.05.2015 — участник парада в Новороссийске по случаю Дня Победы.
Май-август 2015 боевая служба в Средиземном море и Атлантическом океане в составе отряда кораблей и судов КЧФ.
С 25.05-28.11.2016 боевая служба в составе оперативного соединения ВМФ России в Средиземном море.
Июль 2016 — участник парада в Севастополе по случаю Дня ВМФ России.
В начале декабря 2016 года корабль осуществлял охранение вышек газового месторождения в западной части Черного моря.
В апреле 2017 года прошел доковый ремонт на 13-ом СРЗ МО РФ.
