В последнем рейсе (1990/1991г.) на судне возник пожар в рыбцехе. По возвращении в базу траулеру требовался ремонт который на момент ликвидации МРХ СССР так и не начался. В последующие годы судно отстаивалось у причалов своей базы — ЛиБОРФ, ставшей с 1992г. латвийским государственным предприятием. В процессе ликвидации данного предприятия траулер был отправлен на разделку на СРЗ Тосмаре.

Ремонт не был закончен к моменту ликвидации МРХ СССР. В последующие годы судно отстаивалось у причалов своей базы — ЛиБОРФ, ставшей с 1992г. латвийским государственным предприятием. В процессе ликвидации данного предприятия траулер был отправлен на разделку на СРЗ Тосмаре.

После банкротства владельца (ЛиБОРФ) судно сдали на слом.
